The steel is suitable for further forging or grinding! It is not pre-treated.

I cannot give any information about the exact ingredients, this is not important to me because I rely on my feeling. I have tested such knives extensively and find them extremely tough and robust.

The material must always be kept properly at forging temperature!!!

Hardness and temper recommendation:

Hardening in oil at approx. 900 degrees

Tempering at approx. 200 degrees for 1.5 hours.
